We're not saying we made The Perfect Lager. But we did make a Lager: Short Sands. Lagers take time and careful consideration. We've been working on Short Sands for years -- calculating the ideal balance of floral and fruity, malty and toasty. Clean, crisp esters from a low and slow fermentation, classic German malts and noble hops for the barest touch of malt sweetness. A pressurized tank during fermentation produces natural carbonation and here we are.

5.1% ABV / 12 IBU / Everette, WAThis beer is an excellent, well-balanced example of a classic American style amber ale. Pacific Northwest hops balance the malty, caramel flavor with a nice herbal hop finish.

Familiar favorites that grace their cans and kegs include, but are not limited to the following: apple, douglas fir tip, strawberry, raspberry, peach, nectarine, pear and shiso leaf. Non concentrates or purees are used in their fresh fermented brews.
